8/11/2008 kb: Its about 9pm and I have been home home since about 5pm. let me recap... Yesterday I left Deadwood, SD and rode west into Wyoming, before heading north into Montana. I rode all the way across the southern half of Montana before dropping into Yellowstone National Park, and then scooting across Idaho into Oregon where I spent the night after 1,096 miles!

6/6/2008 I did not actually get on the road until about 8:30am, where i went to the gas station and filled up (8:28am and 79,230 on the OD in Escalon, CA. Once on the road I rode fuel fill up to fuel fill up not stopping in between. I rode 1,034 miles before bedding down at about 11:30pm. The trip was great and I only hit rain twice, and only one of those I geared up for. See my Sturgis Marathon Ride for more details...

Last month I bought my first Harley. Had it for 8 days and had the 1000 mile service done. The following we took of to Spearfish, SD. We spent a total of three days up there and two days of travel. With the route there and back, plus all the riding we done we ended up running about 2800 miles. We had a total blast.

Since 2003 I have had 3 or 4 Thousand + mile days. My first ever was a HUGE mistake! I left Chula Vista, CA at 7am and was told to go east on Hwy 8 to Hwy 10 to Hwy 15... I then saw a sign for Las Vegas less than 100 miles - Ahhhh! I was on my way to Pasadena! So I turned around, hit Padadena about 5pm. Picked up Lacey and we rode north. Just north of Bulleton I ran out of fuel and had to push... not fun! About 2am we pulled into Fremont, CA.
