    • The rally was in Leon, Guanajuato in central Mexico.  The city was overrun by more than 30,000 bikes that weekend. We were on our way to meet a few more friends that were in town that weekend to go on a quick trip to the state`s capital city.

    • Same ride as the previous video, this should have been the fisrt one actually. Lots of fun in those turns and I actually scrapped the floor board a couple of times. I think it was because I had a pasanger. My friend is on vulcan 800 and I´m on my v star 650.

    •   Around the bend comes a truck on my lane!! Luckly there were all those arrows to guide me to safety.  The vid is after this happened. When I first saw the arrows painted on the road I had no idea what they meant.  I thought maybe they needed to practice or something.

    • 5 bikes, 3 different MCs represented. Taking the pic Trivi and Sandra from the Doberman club, Psycho representing Guerreros then Duende and Benja From Six-Six-Six. Me up front, no club. We all had great fun that weekend.

    • Not ready for the cold

    • It`s always some degrees cooler riding through the mountains but I didnt expect it to be sooo cold so soon. I mean it's only October! Down in the town of Sayula it had been a nice day.  The wind was cool but it only got to you if you werent moving around much and stayed in the shade. If you got cold all you had to do was step into the sun light. However, as we started to climb the mountain, the sun hid behind a thick rain cloud.   When we got to the top we HAD to pull over and get something hot to eat. We were shaking when we got off the bikes.  I had a nice borrego (lamb or ram or something) stew and a deliciously hot cup of coffee (cafe de olla).  I just love those road side restaurants! Food tastes so much better for some reason. Once tha warmth in our tummies spread to the  rest of our bodies we were ready to continue the ride back home.  Luckly I was carring my heavier gloves and an extra t-shirt. The extra layer (as light as it was) and the hot meal made a big difference.

  • he peeps nice to see so much V650 riders. got my girls bike finished about 3 weeks ago. she just has to get her license and than we can ride together. so one bike done now this winter it will be time to finish of my own bike(is it ever finished?). greetz al the way from belgium.

  • Well, it's about time. The riding season is finally here. I just got;the bike inspected, new V & H pipes, air intake,jet kit and oil change. I'm ready! Lets do it folks. Get out there and ride. I know I'll be enjoying many hour and miles this season. I hope you all do to.

  • Hi guys, Got my Bike in December 07, and I`ve been riding her hard for a little over a year. Ride 'er every day and it already has more than 22,000miles. I just cant let two weekends go by without hitting the road. Havent done much to her yet, just got her a K&N stock replacement air filter. Hope you guys can give tips later on on more mods.

  • Hi fellow V-Star 650 riders. Just got back in the saddle after 23 years. My "other half" got me my bike for X-mas so we can ride together. Its a great way to unwind after running my "home day-care" all day. Plus, now we can more spend time together doing something we both enjoy.

  • Just bought the misses a 650 V-Star for X-Mas. Ride 1100 Shadow myself, but will probably log a little time on the wife's bike. I will have to say when I took her bike for test ride I felt a little envious. I can see why V-Star was "Bike of the Year".
