  • It's a cyst. I have seen one that was at the base of a friends spine. When lanced it shot 2-3 inches into the air. It also smelled up the entire room. Jeep drivers would get the ones at the base of the spine during WWII from all the viberation and always being seated. If it happens often sometimes they have to operate and remove the tissue.
