How Vulnerable we are.

Had a great day today. Had our taxes done (Bill no where near as big as expected). Had a ride in a local parade. The kids (and some Dad's) loved it. Great lunch with biker friends. Had a look in here. Went to the site for our bike club and there it was in stark black and white. One of our Ulysses club members had collided with a deer on an Iron Butt ride in the states today and was fatally injured. Those of you that are involved with the Iron Butt rides may know David "Davo"  Jones.  He was active in many areas of motorcycling and had Kawasaki GTR1000 and 1400.  He was in hospital in Coeur D'Alene. Ride on old mate. The rest of you guys please be carefull. You're all needed here......

  • Always hits home and heart when a fellow rider meets his maker. Especially, when it's on a "charity ride". "Daycare" & my "hope's & prayer's"  go out to David's family and friends. Now he rides at the side of the "Lord Almighty" RIP Dave....

  • Please accept my condolences on the loss of a fellow rider.Lately it seems like the roads are more & more unfriendly for those of us who actually appreciate them the most.Maybe my bike breaking down was a blessing in disguise,along with losing my crappy job last week,who knows the reasons for why one good person goes down and the A Holes of the world just keep on , keeping on.
