I have had the Pipes and just installed the Kuryakyn Hypercharger...

The K & N Filter Element "thickened" when the Cover was screwed on and prevented the Butterfly's from activating.

I found myself depressing the filter element in order to prvide the clearance neccessary to activate the Butterfly's.

Buying Pipes is also tough because while the look is easy to invision, the sound is something you do not get until you install and then you cannot exchange or return the pipes.

Enjoy... I do every time I start it...   Wink
