Never ever trust the lights especially at an intersection. Always trust your eyes. They see alot more of the road than the lights. You had good karma that days. Hope the foot injury isn't bad.

Hey Kyle, First of all i'm glad your OK. The bike can be fixed and all things considered it didn't look to bad.  Are you able to ride it home to California or is it going to have to go on a trailer?? Never trust the lights. Whenever I'm approching an intersection my eyes are looking all over to get as much of the picture as I can and I slow down. Learn what you can from the incedent then let it go. I once hit a deer at about 65-70 mph, I was OK but it scared the hell out of me and it took me a few years befor I got on a bike again because I lingered on it. It's like the falling off a horse thing. You gotta dust yourself off, learn, then get back in the saddle.  Again I'm glad your OK.
