The bike (which appears to be a Valkyrie) seemed to hesitate a tad from the line which would have given the truck an advantage.  Nevertheless, an almost 13 second run on the Valkyrie is kind of pathetic!  This of course ties directly to the experience of the bike operator.  The V65 1983 Magna (1100 cc) was rated the fastest quarter mile running bike for it's time, and would consistently clock 10 second quarter mile times.  Nevertheless, the truck, (which appears to be a turbo-charged Dodge Ram) is no slouch either, and I'm not too suprised by the power demonstrated and the top end speed when the turbo kicked in.

It just goes to show ... do not underestimate a "big assed truck", for some of them can definitely clean the clock of a biker ... especially if the bike rider was "cocke" and confident of a sure win!
