pjd1952, 5 months ago | FlagRMF, I'm looking at your bike and two things come to mind regarding your crash bar...
I just installed one on my Vulcan 900, so I'm looking at yours and notice that it connects at the top on each side and then proceeds from side to side at the bottom, hmmm...my bar connects at the bottom on each side at the foot boards and then proceeds from there around the top where it has a couple more anchor points. No biggie, I just thought it was interesting that they were opposite in that way.
Here's the similarity...looking at your bike, as well as mine, with that nice big shiny piece of chrome, now it becomes apparent, at least to me, that the chrome crash bar is screaming out for more chrome in the addition of a chrome radiator grille. Oh well, when George Bush the elder was running against Bill Clinton here for Prez he told us to "watch our wallets!" How true it is. We have to find a way to staunch the bleeding
. Unfortunately, I'm finding out that chrome begets the need for more chrome! - pjd1952
