Well, I got the ole foot in the mouth on this one. I apologize for not checking out my sources prior to making a recent message board post on the CC Comunity.

I do not know what made me do it but out of the blue I decided to do a little digging and do a bit of investigating on the email I received and then posted. I did not have to look very long until I found this bit of information below.

Word of advice. Always check your sources. Doing so will prevent having to eat ones foot and it preserve your honor. of which I hold most important to me.

However, Pepsi left out two little words on the pledge,

You've received an erroneous email about a "patriotic can" that Pepsi allegedly produced with an edited version of America's Pledge of Allegiance. The truth is, Pepsi never produced such a can. In fact, this is a hoax that has been circulating on the Internet for more than six years. A patriotic package used in 2001 by Dr Pepper (which is not a part of PepsiCo) was inappropriately linked to Pepsi. Thanks for giving us the chance to clarify the situation and please feel free to share this message with anyone else who may have received the erroneous email.     Ok that's cool but do you think an "I'm sorry" will be good enough for all these Pepsi truck drivers that I have chained in my garage in order to stop the spread of these so called Patriotic cans?
