She said she wouldn't

Well the wife saw the new helmet and looked at the old one I had been wearing and thought ok maybe? BUT!!! This morning she said lets go!?!  I was suprised. AND then it took about an hour to finally promise her I would come back when she wanted me to. I had to stop or slow down. So after we signed the BILL OF YOU BETTER OR ELSE! She jumped right on and off we went.

Now for some one that will ride any roller coaster and do any thing at six flags, she was slow for this. Although she was not happy about the idea of no doors or roof, she got on. We didn't go far maybe a little over 3 blocks and back. She asked to go back, and because she would kill me faster than a fall from the space needle. I went right home. It wasn't far but it is the first step. She said she was just worried about tipping over, " not sure which way to lean or where to hold" Which we went over all of it. She was just happy to be on the back with me. I have to tell the truth I was excited, but concerned she might cover my eyes as she grabbing me in fear.

All went well and we are going for another ride for a little more distance tomorrow...

  • Copied annd pasted from my "my bike" page, be careful, In May 07 I decided to get a 250 Yam to ride around town and figured I be able to talk wifey into going for a ride someday. After a week or so she gave in and we went for a 3 mile ride. When we pulled back into the garage we got off the 250 and she looked at the bike, looked at me and looked back at the bike and to my utter amazment said "You're gonna have to get a different bike cause I'm riding this one". I never in my widest dreams pictured my wife riding any kind of bike ever. So I went and bought the 650 Vstar and we rode the whole summer away. Over that 1st winter I kept catching her out in the garage sitting on the 650 and you guessed it she finally says "you're gonna have to get a different bike, cause I'm gonna start riding this one". I traded the 250 in on the 1300 and there you go. 3 new bikes in less than 1 year. She's ready to move up, but, maybe next summer.
