  • Hey Wolfye, I got to 115 on the freeway. Seemed a bit twitchy to me but you need a little more time than I had to get used to it.

  • MMMMMMMM.  Not yet convinced.  Would be happy to take one out.  Might make me change my mind.

  • They sure feel wierd Phil, at least for the first 15 mins. But I gotta say they'd be great fun even if just for a change. I'd like to take one out and get it up to 100km/h to see how it handles.

Description:

This is the Spyder I took out - it was "automatic" - took me about 15 minutes to really get used to it. I found that it wanted to chuck me off when I cornered but getting down lower like on a sports bike alleviated that problem. I didn't really get to give it much of a run - gear changes were wierd but I got used to it quickly. All the brakes being controlled by the right foot pedal was interesting too - but plenty of stopping power and ABS too. If you get a chance, take one out for a spin - you won't regret it!
