I'M CURIOUS IF OTHERS FEEL LIKE ME I'VE NEVER OWNED A CAR AND TRANSPORTATION MEANS ALOT MORE TO ME THAN GOING TO THE STORE. YOU SEE IT COMING A SWEEPING RIGHT TURN AND YOU FEEL THE EXHILIRATION AS YOU LEAN INTO IT FEELING LIKE SOME KIND OF ZEN CONNECTION WITH THE ROAD THAT YOU JUST DONT GET IN A CAR. TOTAL ONENESS WITH YOUR SOUL ITS LIKE NO OTHER FEELING IN THE WORLD YOU ACCELERATE OUT OF IT AND OMG BLISS THERES ANOTHER CORNER JUST AHEAD ALL IS OK WITH THE WORLD IN THESE MOMENTS, NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. TO ME ITS THE RIDE NOT THE DESTINATION. DOES ANYONE GET THAT KIND OF FEELING IN THE SUBARU PICKIN UP EX-LAX FOR GRANDMA I THINK NOT BUT I GUESS IT TAKES ALL KINDS . IT'S GONNA BE 70 DEGREES TODAY SO I'M GOING SOUL SEARCHING SOMHOW I'VE FORGOTTEN THE NAME OF THE ROAD I JUST KNOW ITS THERE AND THATS WHERE I'LL BE TO, THE EX-LAX WILL HAVE TO WAIT GRANDMA SORRY!........SPIKE

Hiwayprisoner, 7 months ago | FlagYou're hitting the nail on the head. I have a twisty road that heads out west of town and runs through the canyon of the rocky mountains north of denver. A little two lane road with 25-35 mph curves and a rushing river racing beside it. It's just one of the places I go to just let the bike talk to me and where I let her sing if she wants. It's either her or those stupid voices in my head again!! Well, at least the dogs quit barking up there. Was planning on taking that ride Friday but, not happening.
Haven't figured out a way to put snow chains on a bike. But there is one voice up there saying, "You can doooo it!!!"
