Hello friends, just find and join to this group, I´m from Durango México, I´m a beginer rider, just 10,000 miles on my V Star, but i loved since ever, for this end of month i will ride to Leon Guanajuato, and get another more miles, Lets ride !!

Well now that we have more people in here, maybe we can pick up the pace a bit! :) I haven't even checked this group in ages since there is never any activity here. I have an 08 1100 Silverado. Got her last year in July, then in Aug some asshat rear-ended me. Lost my baby for about a month while they put her back together. Since then, it's been a great time! Since I live in California and they are going to start smogging bikes in 2012, I just put on a set of V&H slipons to get a bit more volume. Haven't been rear-ended again,. so maybe it worked! LOL! I'm running under the tank K&N pod filters straight into the carb elbows. Did a lot of carb work, rejetting, drilling and grinding, but she runs like a scalded cat now! Someday when I get out of CA I'll change out the exhaust to the Cobra 2-1 exhaust. Changed out my seats for some custom ones I built with Gel and memory foam. Real comfy now! I've done a bunch of other stuff as well, but next I will be lowering it an inch and going to progressive springs in front and rear. Got some of the parts sitting here staring at me, the others are in transit. I'm not a big chrome person, I'd rather spend my time and money on performance and comfort. Of course most of the things you buy only come in chrome, so...

Hello, just joined up and hope to meet some great people here who's heart is on two wheels and wind in the face. I bought a a 05 1100 Classic new and love it. Have installed alot of chrome and made her mine, just the way i wanted her. Thanks again for letting me join this group.
