  • Whoa--that's a scary situation.  Really serious injuries.  Glad you're still riding the roads, though.

Description:

July 1, 2003 an idiot in a mini-van tried to kill me!

This bonehead made an illegal u-turn from the right lane when I was almost to his rear bumper.  Needless to say I didn't have a chance.
My '00 LC that I killed the bear with was totaled.

I suffered the following injuries whe a mini-van made an illegal U-turn in front of me:

-concussion
-broken jaw in 2 places, 4 screws and a steel plate to hold it together!  Wired shut for 6 weeks!
-broken C-7 in my neck
-broken collarbone
-broken shoulder blade
-broken rib

-both bones in my lower leg were shattered beyond repair = 5-1/2 months in a cast
