About me...wow...This could get squirrelly.
I have ridden for a number of years, so I am not new to riding, either solo or pillion. I bought the Shadow in 06 and absolutely love it! Very reliable, very smooth, lovely sound, good maneuverability! She hasnt left me on the side of the road, no matter what conditions are.
I have done a number of solo trips now, and plan many many more in the future. Its sad that the weather here in Northern Alberta doesn't allow for a longer riding season.
My girls think I am losing my mind because I am always gone on the bike somewhere. I have to do it now, who knows what tomorrow will bring.
The Shadow is my second bike, the first being a 1978 Suzuki GS400. I enjoyed that bike a lot, but it was just too small and starting to show her age. She still runs well, but...well,...I saw the Shadow and I was hooked.
I have two other machines as well, a 1968 Moto Guzzi V7 which is gorgeous. She just needs a little cleaning and tuning. Hoping to have her in the show and shines next summer. The other bike is a 1974 Jawa Oilmaster...very unusual bike, also in need of a little care and polishing.
I love old bikes and would be in heaven if I could find one like my dad rode....a 1953 Ariel Square 4....or an old Indian. Of course...those would be a bit pricy if I could find one, so winning the lottery would be a priority! LOL.
If you don't ride, then you don't know.
