My name is Phil, I'm 35 years old, married with two kids from a previous marriage. I'm from Kingston Ontario Canada. I started riding for the first time in the spring of 2009 and became addicted to it immediately. I presently own a 2007 Harley Davidson Night Train. The Night Train was a recent purchase back in July. I always wanted a Harley, but didn't think I would be on one this soon. I absolutely love this bike. 

Prior to the Harley, I owned a 2000 Shadow Ace. My wife decided to feel the freedom of the open road and recently acquired her bike licence through the local motorcycle safety course. She tried the shadow, but I could tell she was not even remotely comfortable. She finally admitted that it was not the bike for her. I kept my eyes open for a good deal but she never seemed to like the bikes I found. One day we were at the local HD dealer and she spotted it, a 2012 HD sportster 1200 custom. She sat on it and really seemed happy with it. I wanted her to enjoy riding as much as I do, so I traded in the the Shadow and brought home her new baby. She's a fair weather rider, so with the cold weather moving in she hasn't been out in at least a month. Well she had to try it out...she loves it. That makes me happy that she will now enjoy the ride that much more.

I love to ride whenever and where ever I can. In my first year of riding, I did mostly in town excursions. But in my second year of riding, that's when I started to wear the rubber off the tires. I did a trip to Newburg NY, to the OCC headquarters. That was a fantastic ride down, but coming back through the Catskill mountains was amazing. I love getting on the bike and going, with no real destination in mind and no time frames to follow. Many of my friends are fellow riders that I frequently get together with for a spin around the block or an all day ride.

Went to Lake George for Americade and Laconia Bike Week. The weather was brutal as it rained all the way from Lake George to Laconia, seven hours of rain and cold. Even though the weather didn't cooperate, the ride was still a great time.

This year I'm going to ride down to Americade, ride to Port Dover for the Friday the 13 meet up, might even look at Atlantic City bike week...see what I can get too come the next riding season.

My wife is a swiss miss, hence the handle "gotaswiss".
