Gussi

Hi hi my name is Gunnsteinn (Gussi)

I was born in Ísafjörður in Iceland in 1961. I am currently living in Vancouver BC Canada, but working as a seaman off the coast of Africa. I stay at sea for two month at a time and then I get two months off. 

I bought my first bike in 2005 after not riding for 27 years. I only had a dirt bike back in 1975-6 when I was a kid, but my intention was always to buy a bike when I got older. Starting a new family again and again and again, yes and again, kept all my dreams about buying a bike on hold, until few years ago when I was able to buy my Boulevard C90. When I finally got my bike I was afraid that this hobby that had only been in my mind for all those years might have passed me by. Oh how wrong I was :) I have enjoyed every minute since I got my bike, and it is only getting better every day, or worse.... , depending on who is talking :) My wife likes riding with me and she would love to have her own bike, but she wants to wait until our daughters are a little bit older.

I have a wonderful wife and two wonderful young girls age 4 and 7 and I also have two wonderful children from previous relationships, a son age 14 and a daughter age 26. As I mention earlier I stay away from home for log periods of time so I am not able to ride as much as I'd liked to while I am home. I will have more time to ride when my daughters gets older, but considering how late in life I had them I will be close to 70 years old when that happens. Vancouver is a beautiful place and to me the perfect place for a biker so I am loving my life at the moment.
