I started riding a bike when I was 19 as I wanted to travel across Australia and a bike seemed the cheapest way to travel. I then became hooked and my Mum always said I would end up marrying my bike as I loved it so much.
But life took over and I got married to a lovely girl and started a family and sadly the bike went. My kids are now 14 and 15 and the urge was bugging me to come back to bikes ( some call it a mid life crisis I call it doing what I always loved). I convinced my wife to let me buy a bike VN800 Classic which I researched for months before I made the purchase. Once back on the bike it was the most amazing feeling and every time I came home from a run I felt fantastic. The commradmanship is an important part of riding a bike and it brings you into a community of friends and mates that stay with you for life.
Bikes I have owned are firstly Yamaha RD250 , Suzuki GS550 Aircooled Two Stroke, Suzuki GS1000S and now the Kawasaki VN800 Classic.
