Looking forward to getting out and taking as many rides as we can once winters over... (long or short - doesn't really matter) Hope to meet up with some other Star riders around this area to possibly do some group rides in and around the area.

What do I mean by "Society's Best Equalizer" in my motto? Well, this is how I see it..... Take two people - one guy could be THE world's biggest DWEEB, the other a tatooed Hells Angel tough, Grizzly Adams looking "typical" biker type. Say they cross paths in a diner, bar or ANY other type of place; it's more than likely that they wouldn't say two words to each other, or even LOOK at each other. VERY different personalities. BUT.....

Take those two same people, put them on motorcylces in their respective riding gear - heading in opposite directions out on a 2 lane highway.....  As they get close to passing each other - both left arms drop down in the "bikers wave" position, and VIOLA!! for those few seconds, they are BOTH EXACTLY the same..... MOTORCYCLE RIDERS.

No "dweeb" - no "biker guy." jUST Two people that share absolutely nothing in common except the passion and the pure joy of RIDING....

Okay... Maybe it's a strange analogy. But it's what I sense every time I'm on a ride down the highway and I pass a fellow rider. (I'd like to think that I am somewhere in between the "dweeb" and "biker guy" category...)  ;-{>
