Like many others I've been riding bikes on and off since I was 15 years old. Just got back into it a couple of years ago with a Suzuki Vstrom (DL 1000) Nice bike but found it a little to tall for me. Started riding on a NSU Prima 150,this was a German slant V single scooter. Honda CB 350. Suzuki TS 500(Titan) Suzuki TS 185 Trail, Suzuki DR 370(Yellow) DR 370(Silver) DR 400(Blue) Honda CB 900, Honda TT 350, Suzuki 650,2006 Suzuki M109R Boulevard. And a couple of bits and pieces bikes I used for shooting when I lived in Hanmer Springs.

My ride at present is a 2011 Ultra Glide.

I am able to load this bike up when I go away on my two week camping/fishing trip in February.I manage to take a six man(person to the females who may read this)tent(I like my luxury) Folding metal slat table,folding chair,single air bed,small sun umberella.All this in a roll-up on the pillion seat.Along with the pannier bags with change clothes and the top box with my cooking stuff, I'm quite comfy.I get many a comment by people asking who brought all your gear.

I am a member of the Ulysses Club of New Zealand,Canterbury Branch #7640.(Grow Old Disgracefully) so we still get out riding nearly every weekend if the weather permits.The only exception to the weather is the annual BRASS MONKEY held in Central Otago at a place called Oturehu.This has a lake by it which freezes over and they play Curling.Lawn Bowls on ICE.
