I began riding in the early 80's without my parents knowing. I rode dirt bikes, enduros, and ATV's. After joining the Marine Corps and after, I rented or borrowed bikes and never got my licence. I know, bad boy. In 2003, I got an 2002 Shadow Spirit VT1100 and love it. Customizing has never stopped, lol. My insurance agent made me get my licence or he was going to drop me. So, I rode to the DMV, took my test and rode home. I had to tell them that the person who brought the bike in was down the street at the coffee shop, yep, being bad again. Now I am legal.
I love to ride, modify and do custom fabrication on my bike. I have had my bike completely apart too many times to count. I make some of my own parts and try to do things that others have not done. I have currently done a custom paint job on the frame and 18K Gold Leafing different parts of the bike. I have also made custom 18K Gold Leaf & Silverleaf Vinyl Graphics for bike, all is done but the front fender. I am doing custom vinyl that gives an etched look that I will apply on the windshield. I have also added Diamond Shaped Studs to the seat, sissy pad, and the bags (you can see my blog on doing this). I have NESS, H-D, Kaw, and other parts on the bike that I had to modify of make adapters to make them work.
I have completely restored a 1988 Honda TRX 300 from the frame up and got it in ATV RIDER mag. I rebuilt an 1980 Honda 80 dirt bike that I got for free, this guy was cleaning out his shop next to mine and was going to put it in the dumpster! I got it looking and running like new, sold it and made a nice profit. I have reguarly done work on friends bikes and 4 wheelers, everything from engine, eletrical, modificationsto restorations.
My wife britgurl and I are doing custom shirts, hats, koozies, sweatshirts and vinyl products. We can put ant name, design, logo, or anything else you want on just about any clothing or make it into a decal. Custom graphics for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and boats are done too. We do business shop windows as well as magnets. http://www.facebook.com/Expressityourway
The good part is that my wife loves the bike and is behind me 100% of the way, she wants more than 2 trophies, LOL.
I also do work on friends bikes and four wheelers as well as custom LED lights. My wife does custom (heatpress vinyl) shirts, sweatshirts, hats, koozies, and vinil decals for vehichles and business. She has done everything from business windows, to vehichle lettering, vehicle magnets, vehicle decals, logos, names, graphics, and racing stripes.
