I'm getting psyched for the Ride I'm planning...
Well I've just retired from twenty years of service in the Navy, I can't believe I stayed in for the long haul. If I only new what I was going to do now that I have to grow up.
I'm new to the Biking community, My first bike was an old Honda CX500 Custom which I bought from a coworker who's father in law passed away. What a basket case, it hadn't been run for eight years. After buying a dealers manual for it and completely rebuilding the engine, I was still chasing gremlins (the carbs need a complete rebuild and the spark looks really weak) so I've put it on the back burner. So I got myself an early retirement present and bought a new Kawasaki Vulcan 900. My friend who's been riding for years keeps giving me sh!* for not buying a Harley, but I wasn't going to shell out top dollar for my first bike! Maybe my next bike will be a HD but for now I'm very happy.
Upgraded My Scoot to a 2010 Indian Bomber. Love her but she's a tempermental Red Head. LOL
