Let's face, there are those of us out there...
My current ride is a Kawasaki 900 classic. This is my 3rd Kaw - drove a 440 LTD when I lived in Germany and then a 550LTD after that. When I'm not working, if I am not riding I might be out kayaking - if I am not doing either then it must be stormy weather. I have been riding for years (too many to count - learned to ride in my teens and got into it in my 20's - had a brief time with no motorcycle - riding around in a box). Living in the south allows for all year riding. I have never been to any big rallies (Daytona, Sturgis) but always say I'm planning on doing that some day. I have ridden the Trail of Tears several times. Although I learned to ride with, and enjoyed riding with, the boys, I ride with my best friend and mostly women who own their own. I have only been a pillon rider when I was young and when I needed a ride home from the airport back in Maryland. Otherwise, I ride my own, work on my own, accessorize my own, and rarely carry a passenger. I have already hard mounted bags on my bike, and am looking for some highway bars, pegs, a backrest, but still debating whether I want to install a windshield. If I do it will have to be one with a quick release because I prefer to ride without one unless I am riding long distances or at night.
