About me:

Hi fellow cruisers, I'm Chris & my main interest in life is my family, hunting, camping, and now riding the back roads of this "great land". I don't know why after the 23 years since my wife & I last sat on a bike of giving it up! Raising kids & work I guess. Anyway, we used to ride a 76 Kaw KH400H3 and 78 Yamaha XS650. Got my 04" Honda Shadow in 2008; and she only had 780 miles on her & looked like she just came of the assembly line & her pipes haven't "cooled off" since.(except long enough for some new "Cobra Slashcuts") The following year I got the wife (Daycaremama) a Yamaha V-Star 650 for X-mas and now she's "hooked" as well . We enjoy going out on weekends & seeing what new roads we can discover & adding new accessories to our rides. Well, after 3 great seasons of cruising some great roads on my "Spirit" I decided to put her out to pasture.. Am planning on some cross-country riding in the near future & thought I need a little more "Umpf" under my "2x-butt"! Now there is a new "Stratoliner S" sitting in the "Madcow" & "Daycaremama" stable. Already dreaming about new accesories for my new "Iron Horse". And Daycaremama is already talking about upgrading from her V-Star! Looks like "CC" may have a profitable year ahead. LOLTill next time "Keep the rubber down & Don't let the blacktop bite your A@@!"
