I've posted pictures from my last ride.
In November of 2010, I bought a larger bike. A 2004 Harley Road King Classic. Before that I owned two Viragos, a 1998 1100 Virago and a 1996 750 Virago. . I've always enjoyed riding the Viragos but they were just a little to small for me. I didn't realize how cramped I was until I test drove the Road King. The Road King fits me much better and makes 2 up riding much more comfortable. The longer frame and floor boards allowed me to sit back further and my passenger to sit back even more. The bigger bike also handles the heavy winds of the eastern front of the mountains a lot better then the Viragos did. Comfort is something I need as the distances I travel get further and further. I'm looking forward to logging many miles on my RKC. I wish I could have afforded to keep the Virago and the Road King. I'll miss how nimble and responsive the Virago was. I could really tear up the corners on those bikes. Although I've had my motorcycle endorsement since 1980, these have been my first cruisers.
I've had a great time exploring my home state on the bikes and would like to travel every paved road in the Montana. I'm lucky enough to have 2 of the best Motorcycle rides in the nation near me, the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier and Beartooth Pass. I try to ride these roads every year. You can see pictures and maps of some of my ride pictures and a short description of the roads around Montana at my Montana Rides web pages.
