Thanks for having me here!  I’m Scott from Portland (hence the PDX in the nick-name).  I have around 10K on my Stratoliner now.  My brother lives a couple of hours away and rides a nicely customized Volusia.  I’m planning on putting on a bunch of miles with him this summer.  I’m fortunate to have a lovely wife that supports my affliction (I’m a “hobby-a-holic”).  So, I’m also hoping to ride my 2008 Stratoliner back and forth to fly fishing locations – or at least my fishing partner’s house and let them beat up their trucks on the bumpy roads! 

I've done a few solo trips (up to Canada, and around Oregon, WA).  Also like to put a backpacking tent/sleeping bag on the luggage rack and put some miles down.

Here in Portland we’re lucky to be 1 hour from the ocean and 1 hour to the mountains, while sitting in a very green valley filled with rolling hills.  The high desert is a couple of hours away and that offers up long straight shots at the horizon.  My two high school aged kids like to get on the back of my bike for quick trips around town and my wife plans to rent the back seat this summer to join me where I point the front tire!
