Hi, my name is Steve and I live in the U.K. about 30 miles north of London. I started riding in spring 2009 when I bought my bike a Vulcan 2000.  I had played around with small bikes in my teens, but got a car as soon as as I hit 17 years old and never had another bike until now.

I get out as much as possible on the Vulcan (English weather permitting) to local bike meets and events. In the summer there are meets at local country pubs in the evenings, so it nice to get out after work into the countyside to meet up for a beer.
The last 2 summers I have taken a long vacation in Spain on the bike, riding from Bilbao on the Atlantic coast and ending up near Valencia on the Mediterranean coast where I spend most of my vacations with my wife. Spain has great roads, good weather most of the time and people seem to be biker friendly. I find bikes always attract some attention where ever you stop and you get into conversation even when you don't speak the same language!....but of course there is always that thing you have in common - Bikes!
