Hi Im 47 & live about 40 kms out of Melbourne in Hallam. Just got back into riding after about 23 years (i know "Mid Life Crisis").  My first bike was a Yamaha 125 ikept it for a few months the got a Yamaha XS 250 and thought i was king of the road.I stopped riding when i got my first car and it wasnt until recently that i got back onto a road bike..My wife Karen (nursezak) kept saying i should get another bike but i kept putting it off.When i finally did last year i got my 2007 V Star 650.Iloved it and spent too much money doing it up.Karen got her Suzuki Gs 500 at the same time. Ive just traded the 650 in for my brand new V Star 1300T (love the Yamaha/Star bikes).So far ive  added LED indicator conversion and a sissy bar ,modified airbox, Lindby Multi Bar with hiway pegs and rear footboards and a Mustang Daytripper seat. Iv'e recently joined the Ulysses Club but haven't had a a chance to go on one of their rides yet.            Update ..We've sold the Gs500 and my wife now has a 2011 HD Sportster 883 Superlow.
