About me:

My 1997 Valk is 15 this year.  Added a couple of photos from an end of the year ride on 31 December 2011.  Weather was so mild it looked like late summer.  Enjoy.

Cruiser Customizing surprised me with my selection as "Cruiser of the Week."  Not sure why that is, I'm just a cyclist like everyone else on this site.  I figured it would require me to attend meetings or something, ughhh.  Anyway, thought I'd comment on it as it is a passing thrill.  Thanks CCC!

OK, have been sailing in the Virgin Islands and just returned.  Well not getting any serious takers on the OEM front signal lights, I stuck them on ebay.  They sold in less than an hour.  Wow.  I know that sometimes folks need these OEM parts and glad I could help out another motorcyclist.

Lately, the Constellation Light Bar Installation from Kuryakyn.  Bottom line, not too tough, kind of frustrating, needs scotch and cigar for complete process, overall impression is that this is a good aftermarket substitution for those Barney Lights that come with our Metric Cruisers.  Now I am free of them on front and rear.  Pics show the journey and express some issues which I will by and by add on the Accessories site.  You know the deal, make it a little bit easier for one of you to navigate through this install.  It was pretty easy but I did call Tech support LOL.

Weather continues mild in the Southern USA affording us plenty of delightful riding conditions.

OK added a few pics from my cross-country ride.  Also doing some very over-due Reviews on products I've used on the Valkyrie.  Realized only after looking at my file of receipts that my Kuryakyn Pilot Pegs were eleven years old.  I replaced them just this past month with the larger Iso pads.  However, the Pilot Pegs still looked great although the underside was worn out.  During the summer when working in the garage, I would feel something scratch my leg while passing by the Valkyrie and did not realize it was the Peg slicing into my leg.  The blood would drip down my leg before I realized it was the worn-out Pilot Peg who was the culprit!

Ride safe.  Lots of Cars out there who never got trained on anything!

Oh, and if anyone out there can tutor me on how to change my site please feel free to explain.  I've been on here for years and cannot get the edit function to work with my brain.  thanks
