Should have done this a long time ago, went...
First and foremost, I love to ride and respect anyone else that rides. I started riding at about 6 years old on a '73 Honda CR125 that was a gift from my father. I rode that one for about 6 years and decided that friends and relationships were more important. So I quit riding till '86 when I got a '85 Nighthawk 450 which I really enjoyed. In 1988, I bought a 1989 GS500e (got my first motorcycle ticket on this one). I became fasinated with cars and sold it for a 1968 Buick GS. (my favorite car ever). Sold that to a collector and in 1992 joined the U.S. Army as a medic. Met my wife and married her in November. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the 1985 Oldmobile Cutlass 442. Loved that car. In 1993, we had our first son. The cost of owning a car like that and the cost of formula about killed me. So I went for the formula. In 1999 I left the military and moved to Middle Tennessee, where we had our second son was born. In 2001, I got the motorcycle fever again and found a 1985 Honda Nighthawk 450, so I bought it. Sold that one and bought a 2005 Sportster 883 Custom, ran into some hard times so I had to sell it. Got that fever again in 2011 when I have my current ride 2002 Yamaha V-Star 650 that I love to ride. Your ride matters to me because you have one, not by the brand on it. A few years ago a buddy let me ride his HD Ultra Classic, that was the HD fever, so as of right now I can only dream of owning a HD Ultra Classic. But one day.
