  • Heated Grips or Heated Gloves???

    Im sick and tired of getting cold numb hands and am ready to make an investment in either heated grips or heated gloves. Last winter I purchased Tour Master Cold Weather Gloves, which did keep my hands warmer, but they were so big and bulky they made operating the bike difficult. Do heated gloves have that same effect? And will heated grips really provide enough heat (especially for the tops of my hands?) I'm just real skeptical of both. Anybody have some good recommendations?

    To me heated gloves are the best choice. As you said, heated grips will heat your hands palm, but not the back.

    heated gloves are somewhat awkward because of the cables, but they are not so thick and big like the traditional winter gloves. Moreover, you will keep your heated gloves even if you sell your actual bike.

  • Heated Grips..................

    I've never used heated gloves only heated grips.  The issues raised so far are spot on.  Go the gloves.

  • Heated grips;

    I live the south island of New Zealand and during the winter our temps get down to 2 or 3 degrees C regulaly, sometimes lower than 0. I invested in heated grips unsure if they would heat the whole hand or just the palms, In my opinion they are great, the whole hand warms nicely (remeber that blood circulates your whole hand not just the palm), I'm thinkin gloves for the good lady on the back though. 2 of my riding mates also switched to heated grips with no regrets. You will work out what is best for you, good luck.
