About Me

I started riding back in 1992. I bought a 1973 Z1 Kawasaki 900 from my brother (no...it wasn't all original...unfortunately). Most of my friends had 900's or 1000's back then and it was great to ride as a group. All of us ran Star or Kerker headers and to ride through town, the sound was awesome. Just taking off and riding wherever was great.

I tore the bike down completely and began restoring/customizing it. Frame was shotblasted, repainted. Chrome redone. As I was getting ready to replace wiring harnesses my wife became pregnant with our first child, so the bike sat. Fast forward one more child later to 2007 and the bike was still sitting...in my basement. A friend offered to buy it from me and I reluctantly sold it. He had an old KZ1000 and I think he knew I was bummed about selling it so he said I could take his bike for a ride...that was it...riding that bike I knew I HAD to get another bike...and soon.

So...after doing some looking...and sweet talking to the wife...I purchased a 2008 Vulcan 900 Custom in May of 2008. I love riding...especially with the wife...she was reluctant at first, but now loves it!

This website is probably one of the best I have found and the people on here are great! Ride Safe!
