OLD GUYS RULE !!

Hi everyone!!     I've been riding since 1965.  My first ride was a '65 305 Honda Scrambler.  Large bike for it's day.  Monster bikes then were the Full size HD and the 900 Sportster, the BSA, Bonnieville-Truimph 650cc I believe. My second bike was a 1972 Sportster 1000cc XLCH, the old kick starter. Those were the good ole days!!  :-)  There was a long dry spell without a bike... In 2004 I finally got a 1100cc Yamaha Classic.  Very clean bike. Then 2 years later I got MY RIDE!! A 2006 Stratoliner, Yamaha, 113 cu. in. 1900cc  What a powerhouse!  Smooth, powerful, sleek.  I love my Ride. I call it "La Poderosa" which means "The Powerful One". I got the name from the book "Motorcycle Diaries" I've riden over 37,000 miles, I love to ride long winding country roads. Like the ones in North San Diego county and in the Santa Barbara,CA country side. I ride with a lot of HD owners.  I used to get harrassed a lot for owning a "JAP" bike as they call it.  But now, they have learned to respect it. And deeply inside, for even the hardcore Harley riders know it's a better bike. Better engineering wise, smoother, generally faster (for a stocker). I respect everyone's ride choice.  Whether it's American, Japanese, British, or Korean!!!

I'm looking for riding partners in the Las Vegas, NV area. Feel free to contact me.

Love life, Ride safe, ride Hard.......Old Guys Rule!!!
