Remember..........stay on

Hi, I'm a 53 year old male and I work as a finance officer in a school in South Australia.

I first started riding bikes at 17 and have loved them ever since. I had about 8 years off them when my son was born but got back on about 10 years ago. Last year I bought my first brand new bike. A M50 Marauder suzi. Love it to death. The weather is just starting to warm up here so it will be in constant use. My son has just got his "L's" for a bike and we have gone out a couple of times together.  It is a good feeling.  I have been playing on the CC site for about 16 months and reckon it's a pretty interesting site.  There are some very interesting people and It's amazing who you will strike up a friendship with.

I tend to do social rides most of the time but when I can get leave I will go away for a few days at a time. I try to organise trips that allow me to get to the destination in one day and then spend a few days travelling around from the base. 500kms in a day is the usual radius for a sensible destination.

In April 2010 I, and another member, are organising a weekend away for as many CC members as we can get.  We are converging on Mildura in Victoria, Australia.  Should be great.  We are hoping that Manybikes will be able to join us. Keep in touch and remember the main rule of bike riding...................................stay on.

The son and heir collected his new toy yesterday.  A CBF 250.  Single pot road bike.  He's very excited about it.  So excited there is two of him. ( he's beside himself??)  He even said it would be good to go to the Barossa valley for a day or two and ride around together.  Wow.  I said I'd go out w...
