About Me

I've been riding since I was 10 and my dad bought me a Honda Mini Trail. Rode dirt bikes for about 10 years. Unfortunately, by age 20, I found it more necessary to eat and keep a roof over my head than to own a motorcycle. A few years ago, I bought an '06 Vulcan 500 on a whim. After riding it for a few months, I decided I needed a bigger bike and traded that one for a Vulcan 900 Classic LT. I rode that one for about a year and decided to try a Ninja 650R.  That was fun but it wasn't really for me. I traded the Ninja for an'09 V-Star 1100. This is the bike of my dreams. This is the coolest bike I could ever want. Especially after I installed the Jardine slip-on exhaust. I can't imagine a bike that would suit me better. So now I'm 47 and my daughter is grown, my hobbies are riding my bike and sailing the boat that I own with my partner, Debi. Life is good.

My girlfriend and I rode our bikes from Loveland, Co. to Las Vegas,Nv. and back in the last week. She has a Yamaha, FZ6R. I don't think she enjoyed the ride as much as I did, but she was ready to ride again the day after we got back.
