About Me

I got my license in mid-October 2008 and bought my first bike at the end of October at the young age of 39!  My firends all passed me by with the sport bike era of our early 20's while I sat on the curb and watched.  I decided to go with a bike that would let me enjoy riding instead of acting the fool, which I knew I would do, so I went with a cruiser.  Love riding and get out every chance I can!

I have found that every time I go out, I wind up riding longer and longer trips.  I recently just went out to go over a friend's house, next thing I know we were at the shore.  Considering I live in the northwest corner of the state (inland) it was a decent ride.

Picked up some new accents recently.  new pegs and shift/brake cover.  Real subtle but make a big difference!

Ride safe!

Saw my very first bald eagle today.  Well, at least one that wasn't in a cage or on TV.  I knew they nested in Connecticut in certain spots but I had never actually seen one.  Coincidentally, I was out riding today when I saw it.  My friends and I were taking a break at the bridge in Riverton (see ...
