Hi,

I am 47, divorced, proud father from Fort Mill, S.C.. My current bike is a 2006 Yamaha Roadstar 1700. I love it but, am having a hard time getting used to a carb. My first bike was a Suzuki C50 boulevard. It was fuel injected.

The Roadstar is incredibly fast! I can pass cars with authority in 5th gear. It is a great cruising bike.  The bike has a smooth ride and despite its size, is so easy to handle! The one drawback is that the bike DRINKS gas!! I am lucky to get 30 MPG. My Ford Focus does better than the bike!!

Don't get me started about that whole re-jetting thing...blah, blah, blah!!!
