Why we show ads
Lead, follow or get out of the way.

It all started back in 82 with my first bike an 81 Kawasaki 650CSR.  It wasn't long before I got rid of it and bought an 82 Honda CB750 Custom, which I absolutely loved.  Once I got out of the Air Force in 88, my new civilian job kept me on the road and too busy for the bike.  So sadly I sold it in 1990, man what an idiot!  I wish I still had that bike, mostly for sentimental reasons now.

Roll ahead a few years and now over 40 with most everything paid for I decided it was time to get back out and start riding again.  No it isn't the old mid life crisis thing.  I just have both the time and money finally!!  Recently I purchased a 2006 Honda Vtx 1300R from a bud of mine who was looking to repeat the same thing I did all those years ago.  The bike didn't fit his lifestyle any longer, yeah you know the story.  Anyway, I decided to jump on the deal and buy his VTX1300R, which had almost 2k in extras on it, for a cool 6k.

Well of course once I got my hands on the bike, I suffered a small case of upgrade fever.  So while I have not spent as much as my bud, I have spent enough to dress her up a bit more.  Of course the work continues and eventually I will stop.  I like my chrome, but too much is well.... too much.

Thanks to GMan for parting with his ride.....

    Cobra passenger...
Your passenger will thank you.  A different look after being used to the stock pegs, but cetainly worth it.

    Cobra passenger...
For anyone considering passenger floorboards, these are very good quality and easy to install.  A bit pricey but worth it.

What a great site to see our flag in all it's splendor.  It is one of those things you see that makes you feel proud inside.

    backend shot of bags
Last shot.  All in all I like the quality and look of the bags on the bike.  The EZ brackets do stick out a bit further, but I think it is worth it for ...
