My name is Doug and I ride a 2006 Honda VTX1800 Retro. My wife passed away from cancer in June of 2008, and we used to ride together all the time. She had a Honda 250 Rebel, and I had a Honda Shadow Sabre 1100. After she died I sold both bikes and bought the VTX.

I have had the bike for only about a year, but already have over 15,000 miles on it; having logged over 7,000 this summer alone.

I am interested in getting to know other riders, and meeting up for some riding time together.
