    A 60Km Ride today organised by local Radio Station to raise Money for Kids Cancer over 400 Bikes and over 700 Trucks in the Convoy last year they had 300 bikes and 350 trucks they made over $267,000.00 so i estermate they will make well over $300,000.00 this year the first lead truck company donated $70,000 to be the first truck bike riders paid $25.00 to enter and received a PINK Shirt. Every year they change the colour of the shirt last year it was green the year before it was BLUE when we get to the desternation they have stalles selling Food Drinks and Memrobilla of the day as well as a Concert all procedes go to kids Cancer and the Childrens Hospital.

Robbie is ranked 7TH in the world. The tank is black with a chrome chip in the clear coat to complement the chrome fenders. The red,orange used was the original color.

    When I setup up rides, I try to find destinations and routes that are intrusting. This year we have ridden to Yosemite National Park, Calaveras Big Trees, and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk by way of the a Mystery stop.

    What makes the ride for you? Is it the route? Is it the destination? The people you’re riding with? Or is it something else?

    !!! ARGH !!!

    I was at a light today and i was inbetween car waiting for light to change... When it did I was well ahead of cars when it changed. A car 2 lanes over sped and changed lanes to catch up with me on my tail. Me seeing this i down shifted and grabbed a hand full. I got up to 60-70mph, car was closing quick. I got to the next light about 300 to 400 feet away, where I had to turn right. I had to shift down to 3rd to turn at a fast 35, leaning all the way dragging my foot peg scrapping my pipes aswell. The Guy was almost touching my back tire by less than an inch! I wish I was joking. I came up to a stop sign less the 50 feet after turn and did a rolling stop, the dude ran the sign almost hitting me. I swung my bike to the right of rode shifted it into netural, drop kick stand, and dismounted. Guy turn left into parking lot right there at bank! ( now quick thing, it is middle of a sunny day. I am loaded with food for wife and I on my bike. I WAS in a very good place until this. I can see my house from here.) I quickly ran to this scums car yelling... "What the hell is your problem!?!", "You are in my F*#king way!" he replies??? I said some other bad things and said I am a father and husband that you could have killed trying to show off... He simply said whatever and walked away. I sceamed inside, bighting my tounge I turned around and got back to my bike and rode to my place. This was not some punk kid. An older guy, silver hair, sports car, maybe not happy about how his pants fit, but I could have been really hurt if not worse.

    I am a very calm kicked back person. I really dislike aggressiveness, but this pushed every button I had all at once. Did I impower him by getting upset or is this what you would have done.

    I had to pray to calm down... WOW i was heated

    So I just got my brand new 08 V-star 1300 8 days ago and it just rolled past 400 miles.  When I got home tonight I found a nail in my rear tire.  It looks small but I am going to ride it up to the dealer and pull it out in their parking lot just in case it went all the way thru.  A bike at home does me no good, at least it will be somewhere it can be fixed.  It is about an inch off the center line and down in the tread, not it the meat of the tire.

    Any suggstions?  can it be fixed or am I buying a new tire already?

Bikers for Babies, Saturday, August 22nd is quickly approaching, and we are excited to get you involved as part of setting the exciting atmosphere for those participating.

• Way to North Cape

    Hi all,

    I've been pretty quiet the last 2 weeks. I flew to Germany to pickup my Kawasaki Councours to start a 15,000+ km trip with my buddy Machine. Another friend from Switzerland, Ingo, joined us for the first part of the trip. 

    We just returned from the Alps, riding 4000km through Switzerland, Italy and Austria on the best mountain passes. Internet connection has been sparse and we spent all day in the saddle. I'm waiting to get new tires put on my Kawasaki before we take off again tomorrow to head to the North Cape.

    We have over 80 Gigabytes of photos and videos already and would love to share with all of you.

    This is my personal "motorcycle trip check list" to make sure I didn't forgot anything important.
