• Gas & Oil: Cheap vs. Expensive

    Great conversation!

    Here in the USA the most common 3 grades of gasoline are 87, 89,  and 91 Octane.  Some 76 and Cheveron stations sell 102 at the pump, but this is rare.

    I run 91 or 92 in all of my bikes. My BMW and KTM specify I MUST RUN only 91 or better or I will have engine damage. I have had to run 89 in them each only once, and they did not like it!

    My VTX, Goldwing, VFR, DRZ, etc... say "use gas."

    My Goldwing and VTX have no problems changing lights... but my BMW, KTM, and DRZ have issues from time to time.  

    I installed Signal Sorcerer on my Suzuki DRZ 400 and it now trips ever light I used to sit at... Yes they work!
