    Hey everyone,

    Want to install some aftermarket pipes on my Liner, but want some that actually improve performance, not just make louder noise.  Cobra's power port seems like it works well, but am considering others.  Anyone out there have some real world seat of the pants suggestions.  I have a K&N air filter on my bike and a Roadhouse slip-on.  The Roadhouse is a great muffler, BUT want something that doesn't look like a submarine bolted on.  Really like the looks of the Cobra Speedster.  Any suggestions?

    Roadhouse Brand Classic 2 in 1 exhaust is a full replacement, not a slip-on.  As such, rejetting the carb is necessary.  Otherwise, it will not run properly.  In addition, modification of the air intake is also highly recommended to take advantage of the freer flowing exhaust.

    Here is a video of a V-Star 1100 with the Roadhouse exhaust.  It's music to my ears.

    I've been waiting for someone with a similar bike to comment on the Roadhouse.  I want to turn up the sound but not too much and I don't want to get into carbs etc.

    After riding for the summer on my 2005 VStar 1100 Classic with K hypercharger and V&H Classic Slip-ons.  I am pleasantly surprised with the result.  

    Before HC, I was dealling with constant backfiring.  The backfiring is gone now.  There is some minor popping which I'll live with.  It's difficult to say there is any power gain from the HC, but once the speed gets up for 30-40s, the bike feels strong.  The real surprise is the MPG.  I'm getting around 55

    I have lowered the pipies by installing  Roadhouse 2 into 1 Classic, That made more room to replace saddle bags with Boss Bags size 39, I also have Cramp Buster throttle control and Memphis Shades wind screen.

    I've narrowed my exhaust search down to three systems.  Money is a big concern so I try for the best I can with the limited funds I feel that I can divert into this money hole (2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic)...a best bang for the buck...kind of...

    1. Roadhouse Moto Classic Slip-Ons (not really, it's a full system) with tapered ends @ $299.99 (this is a really good price).

    2. Cobra Dragsters @ $373.96 (lowest I've seen but within range of competitors).

    I have a Vulcan 900 with stock pipes.  I have upgraded the intake to an Arlen Ness Big Sucker.  From where I sit that makes things louder.  Is it the exhaust I'm hearing?  I'm not sure and I've never had anybody else ride it by me to hear what it sounds like to the outside world.  Anyway, I have pretty much convinced myself to replace the stock pipes with a set of Roadhouse Moto Classic Slip-Ons but as recently as this past Saturday have had to rethink it.  Short rides, back

    I recently put on a new Roadhouse Brand Classic 2 into 1 exhaust, and their web site said no re-jetting was required.

    Well they probably are right. I experienced zero problems or backfiring when ever I rode the bike in a civil fashion, but when I got out on the highway and opened up the throttel at speeds in excess of 80 MPH there was some hesitation and upon letting off the throttel the darn thing sounded like a machine gun firing.

    I installed a jet kit and now the thing works great all

    Ok, I have to admit that there are tons of advertising mumbo jumbo out there but I am admitting that the folks at K&N definately have their act together.

    I just installed the K&N air filter in the Ole Sabre a few days ago and HOLY COW! The initial take off from a dead stop is unbeliveable. My fifth gear now actually has get up and go, and my gas milage has inproved a whopping 3.5 MPG.

    I also installed a new Roadhouse Exhaust system a couple weeks ago and along with the great sound
