Be sure with Pure ! Pure Oil Company was a American petroleum company founded in 1914 and sold to what is now Unocal Corporation in 1965. The Pure Oil name returned in 1993 as a cooperative (based in Rock Hill, South Carolina since 2008) which has grown to supply 350 members in 10 Southern states.
My son took this picture when we went on a Turkey run, 2009
Met this guy on a turkey run as I came out of the Harley Davidson.

I Know... I had to be at work instead of on this trike
... but I could'nt resist for a ride LOL. Today, nobody knows it LOL
This is the bike that started it all, purchased in December 1998. The first bike I owned after a 14 year break from riding. I only owned this for 1 month before I decided I needed something bigger and bought the 1100 Aero.
This was the 4th bike I bought after getting back into riding. I had a lot of fun customizing this bike too!
This is the 2nd bike I bought after I started riding again. This was one of my favorite bikes. I had a lot of fun customizing it. :o)
This was the 3rd bike I bought when I got back into riding. This was a great bike too!
This is the bike that I owned the longest. I bought this bike right around the time Uwe and me founded CruiserCustomizing. This was a great bike!
I owned this bike for a while also. When I moved to another state I couldn't fit it in the truck so I left it behind in the care of a good friend and he sold it for me. Thanks Kyle (manybikes)!!!
Yeah I owned one of these too. This bike was just too big for me. I sold this with less than 1000 miles on it to buy my M109R.
This is my other current bike. This thing is fun to ride!
Yeah I made it look like and XB12 with the amber wheels, amber tank badges, and I painted the swingarm the same color as the XB12's. It has an XB12 airbox, K&N filter, real carbon fiber frame covers and rear "hugger" fender. I had some other parts anodized to match the wheels. It also has a Jardine exhaust and the Buell race ECM. This bike hauls ass! ;o)
It's also for sale so if you're interested, drop me an email. It is located in Bend, Oregon.
I just bought a 2009 650 V-Star Classic. I can't wait to customize it, even though it looks pretty cool as is. My first goal is to extend the front forks approximately 8 to 10 degrees and buy a smaller front fender. Then I'm going to lower it several inches.
If and when I have the funds, I'll get a custom paint job. Purple with gold and red pinstriping. I would like to change the rear of the bike to attach a big old fat tire. I know this is going to cost a small fortune, but I figure this bike will last at least 20 years or more. So I have time.
Hey out there:
I'm looking for some feedback on a project that I'm thinking about. Please look at the 2 photos (mockups) of some lower fairings that I am considering building for my VTX 1800. The batwing fairing is already in place, and I want to enhance the appearance as well as provide for some additional wind protection for my feet and legs.
Please give me your honest feedback. If you think they look like crap, tell me so. The color/paint scheme is only one idea, I would like you to focus on the size and shape of the lowers mainly.
Please vote for either MOCKUP A, MOCKUP B, or NEITHER
Thanks in advance!
