    A friend of mine who is a farrier/ blacksmith made this sissy bar to my sspecs from a 3/8 X 3/4 steel bar. I used Birchwood casey Super Blue to make it look balck then sprayed it with polyurethane varnish to protect it from scratches.I use it on trips to hold my bags. I have used it several times and it work very well.

    Here's the taller sissy bar with the bag strapped on. Many tines I aslo take another small suit case and strap it on the seat side also. With a pillow it makes a good back rest.
