I'm in the process of picking saddlebags for my bike. We're touring interstate in November, and I want to get the bags soon, so I can get used to having them on my bike, and figure out how much girly crap I can fit in them so I don't have a heart attack the day we leave when I have to leave all my 'essential stuff' behind!
Can anyone tell me what they know about the quality of Willie and Max saddlebags? Particularly if you own a set. I'm looking at these one's: Revolution Series Throwover Belted Saddlebag.
What's important in saddlebags for me is that they're durable, that they aren't the floppy kind, that they're removable (I'm going to get a set that works with easy brackets) and that I don't have to have the yolk throwover style because I don't have a back seat on my bike - and I'm told by Willie & Max that this style have zip offs so they'll work if I zip off the yolks and have them attached to easy brackets. Looks are also important for my bike - I want to keep a classic look to my bike, and these are kinda modern but still with a classic look to them.
I've looked at K-Drive's already, hubby has been hinting at those all along, but I really don't like the shape or style of those, because there's only one shape for the Yamaha 650 Vstar.
Any advice or reviews would be appreciated! Thanks, Dim
