    I was looking at the HH Passenger boards for my VN900LT.  There is no fitment information, like you get when you look up the Kuryakyn boards.  I'm wondering if these boards will fit right only my bike without any adapters.

    Has anyone tried to the HH Passenger Floorboards for a Kawa Vulcan 900?   The item listing on CC doesn't indicate any need for a spline adapter (like the Kuryakyn) and I'm wondering if these boards really just fit right on where the back pegs are, or if there's a need for an adapter.

• More Details About My VTX1800

    I purchased my 2006 VTX1800 Retro in the summer of 2008, about one month after my wife passed away. We each had a motorcycle at the time; hers was a Honda 250 Rebel, and mine was a Honda Shadow Sabre 1100. I sold both bikes and combined the cash, plus a little more, and bought my VTX.

    I absolutely love this bike! Sure, there are quicker and faster bikes on the market, but this bike has power to last for days. It feels like it will pull me up the side of a cliff. I have put over 15,000 miles on it since I bought it.

    UPDATES:

    Since I purchased the bike, I have upgraded the following:

    1. 4" pullback risers. Even though I'm 6'0'' tall, I found my back becoming fatigued while riding, and I wanted a more kicked-back feel. The risers did the trick. I did not have to modify the brake or throttle lines at all either.
    2. Brake-Away products cruise control. I have never had a cruise control (actually a throttle lock) on a motorcycle before, but with the VTX and the longer distance rides, it became a necessity for me. I use it when I need to relax my right arm or flex my fingers. It's also fun to wave at other riders with the "wrong" hand! This unit works fantastic!
    3. Road Burner 2:1 headers. I bought these pipes for two reasons: 1) to provide for more clearance to mount my fiberglass saddlebags lower, and 2) because they look and sound great. The stock pipes were just too quiet. I don't like really loud pipes, so these added just enough to make the bike heard.
    4. Kuryakyn passenger floor boards. These floor boards are a great match for the stock rider floorboards, and they provide a much more stable platform for the ride to rest their feet on. Climbing on and off the bike is much easier for the passenger as well.
    5. Kuryakyn Air Master Fairing with audio unit. This is probably the single-most important addition to my bike. If I had to choose only one accessory to add, it would be this one. The fairing works 100 times better than any windshield I've tried, and it has a built-in stereo system to boot! Looks fantastic as well.
    6. Cobra steel light bar. I like the higher visibility that the two extra lights provide, and this light bar is the best looking one that I found. I had to fabricate a special extension bracket so that the light would clear the Air Master Fairing.
    7. Invicta Motorsports LS002 Pro fiberglass saddle bags. These bags come with a mounting kit for the VTX 1800, but you're basically on your own trying to figure out how to mount them. With the stock pipes, they sat way too high for my liking (see Note 3). So I bought the Road Burner pipes and then had custom mounts fabricated.
    8. Cruiser Backrest Deluxe Backrest/Brackets/Carrier Rack Kit. A must if you're going to have passengers!
    9. Ultimate X Seats. Rider, passenger, and passenger backrest. Absolutely the most comfortable motorcycle seat I have ever ridden! Easily ride for 200 miles (a full tank) without stopping or shifting in my seat to relieve butt pressure.

    The story goes like this…

    RIDE BELLS are said to protect the Rider and the Motorcycle from notorious road Gremlins.
    These mischievous Gremlins litter roads and highways with treacherous hazards such as oil puddles, potholes and
    obstacles such as boards and scrap metal. The ringing of a Ride Bell is a perfect deterrent for fiendish spirits.
    
    TWO BELL STYLES, EACH HANDLING the GREMLINS in a DIFFERENT WAY:
    With all inverted cup or open bottom shaped bells, the fiends are caught up inside the bell shape and ejected to the
    ground below. Vaporizing a Gremlin causes a pothole.
    GREMLIN DESTRUCTION INSIDE the BELL: Potholes are proof of vaporized Gremlins!
    
    The rounded style bells ring much more loudly than the cup style and
    are much more efficient at calling in the Angels from greater distances. Important, because

    Bells are mounted as low on the motorcycle as possible.
    It is best if the bell is gifted to the rider, because it's power is doubled. 
     

    They have been given many titles over the years including Bike Bells, Biker Bells, Motorcycle Bells, Ride Bells,
    Protection Bells, Talisman & Amulet Bells, Angel Bells, Gremlin Bells, Demon Bells ... and as mentioned above, Legend says that if you receive a bell as a gift it’s protection power is doubled.

    I have had them on all my Bikes and Myth / Superstition or not, I for one swear by them {anyone wants to know the details just message me lol}.    

    Obviously I’m not the only one who has had a problem or two while out riding, as I have seen an increasing number on Bikes that I come across in my travels.  Maybe you never have had that close call or unexpected bike trouble, if so you’re one of the lucky “few”, as for me I have a "Gifted" one on each of my Bikes and I also carry one with on my key Chain..

    HI; You are going to have to adapt stuff to your ride. I had to do the same thing with the 05 C50T I had. The only stuff for it was from Suzuki only. I did not care for the  $$$ and the look of their stuff. So I made most of what I added. You said you have 9 months of cold so you have plenty of time... I have used lots of lites and chrome brackets

    so far i have added an exhaust, ebay, 18"apes. rerouted the wires and hoses to get enough length. removed all the stock intake and added a edelbrock automotive air cleaner. i removed the floor boards,(mot my style) removed the pegs from the back , drilled the hole for mounting pin to take the board pin. i drilled and tapped a hole on the board mount so i could put a set screw to adjust the angle of the pegs. the next thing i did was remove all the fork covers. then i drilled holes in the front fender about 2-3 inches uop the bracket. used spacers and bolted the fender back on. next i have to talk to these boys to get a nice chrome pair of pegs for the bike.

    The very first thing I added were Passenger Boards. On the third day out my wifes foot missed the peg and melted shoe bottom on my pipes. Since the change, no troubles, plus, she says it gives her a since of security.
