Happiness is over, cant ride my bike anymore. Passing summer was super and 10.000 miles on gauge, its more than i never have rided during the past summers. Now i have time to customize my new VN2000 with some lovely chrome parts from CC, there`s few orders in and the first delivery came here today.
I cant stand this darkness during this time of the year, its so cold and when leaving the work its dark and coming to work its dark again. We had snow allready few inches, but it all melted after two weeks showers.
Something must be done and fortunately i have bowling, which is my number one hobby on winter time. I started that hobby the same time than my riding in 2004. My scoring averige is 192 and have told to everyone when reaching M-level (highest ranking) i stop the whole thing. My age maybe is obstacle to that dream, but people must have dreams to gain success, no matter what it is.
I will introduce my bike to you after attaching the new parts on it.
All the best to all of you and safe rides

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where you can read it
every day. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.
1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be
just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like
you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.
11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude
remarks.
And always remember....when life hands you Lemons, make Lemonade
Good friends are like stars........
You don't always see them,
But you know they are always there.
I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend while I'm here
than a whole truck load when I'm gone.
Read this article a short time ago, by the great "news commentator"; Andy Rooney. And thought it was worth sharing with you. And I would also like to thank everyone here at the "CC community" for the past year I've been a member. Your a "GREAT" bunch of people & friends! Now here's what Mr. Rooney had to say:
I’ve learned…that the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.
I’ve learned…that when you’re in love, it shows.
I’ve learned… that just one person saying to me, “You’ve made my day!” makes my day.
I’ve learned…that having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
I’ve learned…that being kind is more important than being right.
I’ve learned…that you should never say no to a gift from a child.
I’ve learned…that I can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help him in some other way.
I’ve learned…that no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act “goofy” with.
I’ve learned…that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
I’ve learned…that simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.
I’ve learned…that life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you get to the end, the faster it goes.
I’ve learned…that we should be glad God doesn’t give us everything we ask for.
I’ve learned…that money doesn’t buy class.
I’ve learned…that it’s those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I’ve learned…that under everyones hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
I’ve learned…that the Lord didn’t do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?
I’ve learned…that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I’ve learned…that when you get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
I’ve learned…that love, not time, heals all wounds.
I’ve learned…that the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
I’ve learned…that everyone you meet deserves a smile.
I’ve learned…that there’s nothing sweater than sleeping with your babies breath on your cheeks.
I’ve learned…that no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
I’ve learned…that life is tough, but I’m tougher.
I’ve learned…that opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
I’ve learned…that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
I’ve learned…that I wish I could have told my Dad that I love him one more time before he passed away.
I’ve learned…that one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
I’ve learned…that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
I’ve learned…that I can’t choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
I’ve learned…that when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that your hooked for life.
I’ve learned …that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs when you’re climbing it.
I’ve learned…that it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.
I've learned...that the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.
Good advice from an old lady... written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written."
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's,we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
Friends are the family that we choose for ourselves.
My son Andy on his first bike just after getting his license in August/08. Nothing like the feeling of riding on your favorite roads with your kid!!
Trahlyta, according to legend, lived on a mountain near her grave. She was told to walk along a path, drink from a spring and wish never to grow old by the Witch of Cedar Mountain. You will become more beautiful with each sip, the Witch of Cedar Mountain told her. She followed the path and drank from the spring. Word of her beauty quickly spread. The Cherokee warrior Wahsega, whom she rejected as a suitor, kidnapped and took her to his home. She begged and pleaded for her release, but Wahsega would not permit it. With each day her strength waned, her happiness gone, longing for her mountain forest. As she lay dying Trahlyta asked to be buried in the mountain paradise from which she had come. Strangers, as they pass by, may drop a stone on my grave and they too shall be young and happy, as I once was, she said, What they wish for shall be theirs !
Its middle of this summer here and 5000 miles behind. Soon this all loveliness ends again and cant ride no more for quite many months. Have to enjoy the rest of this happiness as much as i can. The next two weeks seems to rain almost everyday here and that`s not so nice. Nice time i had with my gf last weekend when we visited Copenhagen in Denmark. We took a plain but didnt ride there. It was a different kind of weekend, enjoyed it so much but missed my bike however. the best point was that my gf didn`t have to miss me and me either her
.
The summer is now the most beautiful with its blooming flovers and so green landscape, i cant get enough to see all that around me when riding these roads...
Safe rides to everyone..enjoy your rides and life
