    Warmer weather around town and state highways- Bandito helmet, glasses jeans and boots.   Colder weather local rides neoprene face mask and the bandito or 3/4 helmet- or a full face.  Also leather jacket and chaps if chilly enuff. Highway trips in summer- Cortech jeans with inserts, First Gear mesh tex jacket, tourmaster water proof boots (keep rain suit in a saddle bag).  Colder weather I'll replace the mesh jacket with either a Cortech denim riding jacket or a leather jacket.

    Thanks for the advice.  I keep a little spray bottle in a cup holder on my handlebars  and use it to cool myself down while riding.  Usually by just spraying a mist on my neck from time to time.  Also use a hydration system to avoid dehydrating.  When I have to stop for fuel I grab a sports drink and also a little air conditioning.  Next thing I want to get is some mesh pants or over pants so that I can wear shorts on the bike and still have some protection from wind burn an

    I have a camel pack for hydration and I use my modular helmet on road trips so I'll have protection most of the time and can get to my water when I need it. Also I keep a little hand spray bottle in a cup holder to use as a mister to cool me down occasionally.  Gotta point Mike, bout long rides being taxing on ya.  Guess I'll play it by ear and if I'm real late getting there they can can get over it.
