The Fuel Pressure Regulator Diaphragm was broken. Vacuum controls the fuel pressure, so it was dumping raw gas over and above what the injectors were using. Finally, it purrs lake a baby...all this took 5 months and two dealerships to fix, and $1200. Now, forget Redline Sports Myrtle Beach....they are parts chasers and dont have a mechanic that could trouble shoot a bicycle.
Britt Motorsports in Wilmington is the place to go. The top mechanic there was picked to find my problem, and find it he did. It was expensive, but after 5 months a real relief.
End of saga for now.....
On the way to Myrtle Beach, at South Of The Border
For those unwary, and faced with same problem, the fuel pump and the fuel cutoff relay were replaced, still wouldnt start. So my worst fears were now that the ECM was bad,..an $800 part ($580 on the web) and wa-laa! Put in the new ECM and started like nothing was ever wrong. Only 3700 miles on this bike, way too early for the command module to fail....so folks, there it is....2 months to fix. One more note...the certified Honda dealership in Myrtle beach did not have the equipment or knowlege to troubleshoot this problem. They also replaced the fuel cutoff relay that wasnt bad in trying to find the problem.

The Celtic Chopper. It even has a "shot glass" affixed to the tank!!
Hello you lovely people. It's awfully lonely here in my office at Cruiser Customizing. Can you guess why?
Yep, you guessed it! Kyle has been gone for AGES. First Myrtle Beach, now the adventure across the west!
Fortunately he will be back soon and is not too broken up from his little accident. While he is away, you can watch his journey on Google Maps. Check it out!
