The hubby's full knee replacement on July 7th sure hampered my riding this season. I missed the WoW ridein this summer, the Pikes Peak Harley Davidson 5 in 1, and the Teller County Animal Shelter HAWGS for Hounds poker run. I thought I might get to escape up into the mountains and surprise family at a reunioun today, but now way. I need a baby sitter!
I do get to escape during the week to go to work lol... I have now become a Mafia Wars and Farmtown addict on Facebook. Some consolation!

Thank you all for your your worries and cares! Family and Friend Update: Yesterday I tried my damndest! Went to 3 different hospitals who would not help me as I am Kaiser and it was not life or limb. Closest Kaiser was 4 hours away... Went to two local Orthopedics... they would not help either. After 2.5 hours on the phone with CA Kaiser... i gave up...
Here are photos of my foot... 24 hours after the accident
The last two times I went to PIkes Peak it was closed due to a fishing tournament the second time a car race. Third times the charm! Wow it was AMAZING!

Here is my ride AFTER completing a 4 week, 12400 km run from Port Elgin Ontario to San Luis Obispo, Californinia via Pikes Peak, Grand Canyon, then up the west coast to Vancouver then home via Rogers Pass, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg and Duluth. It was an unbelievable start to my retirement.
